Any time I click on a cnn.com article I get the above splash screen. I do visit cnn.com pretty often, and yet, I probably won’t register for an account. Which means I’ll just stop going to CNN (the same thing happened with the Wirecutter for the most part… though they are charging for access).
I don’t begrudge the decision, and this does look like a test for the moment. I just don’t value cnn.com enough to bother. That says something about both cnn.com and me, I think!
