We don’t use pronouns.
Florida principal fired: Interview with the school board chair who ousted a principal after Michelangelo’s David was shown in class.
That quote is from Barney Bishop III, who is the chair of the School Board of the Tallahassee Classical School.
You may have heard about them because the principal was fired for not sending a letter to parents warning that a picture of the statue of David would be shown to 6th graders. If you’re unfamiliar with one of the most famous statues in the world, it is of a naked dude.
Now, they say they forced out the principal for many reasons – and that’s probably true. But the “we don’t use pronouns” quote is really all you need to know. That’s what some like to call “virtue signaling.” Also, it would seem like pronouns are important in education.
