I was due for a new work laptop a while back, and ended up getting a 2020 M1 13-inch MacBook Pro to replace my aging, beloved, MacBook Air.
I loved that MacBook Air. The size was great, I didn’t need many ports for my laptop, and did I mention the size was great? Sadly, it was slowing down, noticeably.
My new MacBook Pro is anything but slow. This thing is super speedy, and it isn’t even Apple’s latest and great processor. It is a bit thicker and heavier than my beloved MacBook Air but I honestly don’t notice it that much. Overall, this is a great computer.

I like everything about it other than one thing: the Touchbar. The touchbar is one of those things that seems like a great idea until it is on millions of laptops and you realize it kind of sucks. I don’t hate it, but I would be happier with old fashioned buttons.
