Win a copy of The Mac OS X Lion Project Book

You all know that I’m a big fancy pants author, right?

Did you know that big fancy pants authors get author copies of their books? It is true! It is also true that I have no use for 25 copies of my latest opus: The Mac OS X Lion Project Book
(though I do recommend you purchase at least 3 copies, in case of disaster).

However, two lucky people will win a copy of my book just by commenting on this post by end of day Saturday, September 3rd.

That’s right, just leave a comment and you’ll be entered to win! I’ll pick two lucky people, autograph the book (if requested to) and mail it off to them.

All I ask of the winners is this: read the book and leave a review of it on Amazon/BN.com/iBookstore… wherever you do your shopping. The review should be honest (good, bad, or indifferent) of course.

Alright, why are you still reading this? Leave a comment already!

  1. I think I’m close to disaster with my Mac, so I may need 3 copies lol My son convinced me Mac was so easy but after 3 years I still don’t know what I’m doing half the time! Congratulations on your book!

  2. Thanks to your wife I discovered your blog and seemingly very helpful information for a mac user and a would be wordpress novice. Good luck with sales.

  3. Talk about locally sourcing tech for Mac’s new Lion system! We have two Mac user’s who are using LION, we may need help. Glad to know that you and Marissa each have you own writing talents. Good luck.

  4. Ah! I finally have the reason I was seeking to upgrade to Lion – a book about it by Scott! This validates the software like no QA department could. I would be ever so delighted to receive a copy, whereupon I would upgrade my MacBook Pro and use it to write a review.

  5. I need this book because I never know what to do with my computer. After I am done checking e-mail and facebook, I stare at my screen with great expectation, but nothing ever happens. I guess I thought that just by owning a sleek and stylish Mac my life would become organized and all the bits of paper I surround myself with would magically disappear. It is my evening ritual to push my chair away from my desk, stand to leave the room, take one last glance at my computer over my right shoulder (just in case something happened while I wasn’t looking) and sulk back to the kitchen to see what my husband is doing on his computer.

  6. I would love a copy of your book. I upgraded to a Mac last year when my Dell let me down for the last time. I love using it but I really don’t have any good resources for learning its full use. I’ve resorted to downloading pc applications with Mac patches to do photo editing because I can’t figure the Mac out =(. Sadly Graphics converter doesn’t have much support online. I also follow Food In Jars on facebook and was sent here by your wife’s post there so that should get me some brownie points, right? lol. Leaving an honest review on Amazon would be a cinch since I clearly love to type lots and lots.

  7. I would love a copy of your book. I have a Mac and I know that I under-use it because I’m pretty computer illiterate. Thanks

  8. I would love a copy of your book and would love you to autograph it for me too! I know that I only use about 25% of the options available to me on my Mac because I really don’t have any idea what all it does. You’re my chance to learn more about it!

  9. I recently upgraded to Lion and want to learn more about it. I want to get the most out of it. I would love to share the knowledge with my fellow Apple Store coworkers..

  10. Wow this comes in a very timely manner. I was just looking for help with my new Mac. I really like it and even bought 2 years of help, but where are they when you really need them? This book sure would be helpful. Also going to check out your site.
