I had the pleasure of running a session at the 2011 Wharton Web Conference (I also happened to be a member of the event planning committee, but I’m sure that was just a coincidence).
My talk was entitled “WordPress Can Do That?!” and it focused on using WordPress as a CMS (it is more than a blogging engine). I covered:
- Custom Post Types
- Custom Taxonomies
- A gaggle of plugins to make WordPress more CMSy
- Security
The presentation is embedded above, and this link will take you to a PDF of the slides.
