3 new shirts for Scott
April 18, 2008
In honor of the 2008 Hawaiian shirt season, I bought 3 new shirts for my stylish (ha!) wardrobe.
What say you all?

I don't know about you, but I love me some popcorn. I always thought one had to use a microwave, or go to a movie, to get tasty popcorn but Marisa has shown me the error of my ways (something she enjoys doing, by the way). Check out our latest episode of Fork You: Pop, pop, pop!
I started working at my current place of employment on April 14th, 2003 but I am pretty sure I moved to Philly the week before that (just to get a sense of the place. I hadn't been to Philadelphia more than twice before I picked everything up and moved here).
When I first moved from NYC to Philly I figured I'd be here for a couple of years and then move back to New York. That idea solidified when Elisa and I broke up, since she was the major reason I left my beloved Yonkers in the first place. Five years later and here I am. Why? A funny thing happened along the way: I started liking Philadelphia.
On occasion I would sally forth to NYC, and I couldn't wait to get back to Philly. What the heck was going on? I'm a New Yorker, damn it, I didn't want to like Philadelphia! Try as I might, Philadelphia grew on me.
Philadelphia is my home, and I can't imagine living anywhere else. My fantastic girlfriend lives here (and I live with her, so that makes it nice), lots of my friends are here, and most of my stuff is here!
I am willing to wager that 5 years from now I'll be writing a '10 years in Philadelphia' post. I can't wait.
Don't forget that tomorrow we are having another Fork You Live. This is is Fork You Live: Eggs, eggs, and more eggs at Foster's Homeware . Check out the link for more details!
Woah, it has been awhile since I've posted a Scott Gets Fit entry since December 12th, 2007! Interestingly, that's around the same time I started going out with Marisa. Mere coincidence? I think not!
Anyway, I'm back on the bandwagon and I weighed myself yesterday: 282.6 pounds, which is so close to my low of 281.1 (taking into account I stopped going to the gym and ate whatever the heck I wanted for the last few months this is good. I was probably about 297 a month ago. Hurrah for the gym!).
Stay tuned for more Scott Gets Fits posts, because darn it losing weight is fun!
Literally 2 or 3 people said our last Newly Cohabitating episode was entertaining, so we hauled out the USB microphone and recorded another one. Episode 2 covers the first day of our 'officially' living together (since I don't have another apartment anymore), desk cleaning, and the many quirks of Marisa.
Oh, and since we are having fun with this, expect us to launch yet another blog with a feed you can subscribe to in iTunes (or whatever you like).
