The TV is happy now
February 28, 2008

Hey, Fork You fans that live in and around Philadelphia, make sure you have no plans this Saturday. Why? Because we're getting the gang together to do yet another Fork You Live at Fosters. This time around we'll be making Mac and cheese (a couple varieties), and you'll get to have some at the end of the show (free food and entertainment? How can you lose?).
Feel free to RSVP via Upcoming, or just show up. Here are the details:
Fork You Live
Fosters
Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008
2pm to 3pm
399 Market Street
We'll be in Apartment 399, their demo area, cooking up a storm (and we'll be filming the whole thing to make an episode).
I hope to see you there!
Tweeterboard tracks Twitter users based on their relative 'influence.' For reasons unknown to me, I am currently the most influential Twitterer (according to Tweeterboard, of course, and no doubt by the time you read this I will no longer possess the top stop).
While I think this is meaningless, it does explain why I have seen an uptick in my number of followers.
Twitter is a stranger and wonderful thing.
One of my friends, who shall remain nameless, got me this Apple Security patch for my birthday. This is an official (though old, since Apple doesn't use that logo anymore) patch, my friends. Can you say collectors' item? I thought you could!
I am thinking about getting someone to sew it onto my laptop bag because I'm a geek like that.
Thanks, mystery gift giver!
Check it out, the latest Fork You is online: Quick and easy mousse. That's right, in 2 minutes you'll be able to whip up a delicious chocolaty treat for someone you love!
Yes, the rumors are true! I'm fixin' to shack up with my little lady, Marisa. I am also, it would seem, slowly turning into a cowboy.
I'm not sure which of those two facts is more startling.
Marisa and I are quite enjoying being a couple, and have decided that it makes sense for me to completely uproot my life and uproot her life by moving all my earthly possessions into her well stocked, well lived in apartment on the lofty 20th floor. I have slowly been moving stuff over, and I'll be completely moved in by the end of March (at least that's when I have to be out of my apartment).
This will mark the first time in my five years in Philadelphia that I won't be living on Pine Street. Wacky, huh?
Thanks to Thad for taking this picture. And yes, that t-shirt does say 'Marisa's Mancandy.'
More on this story as it develops.
This is gosh darned funny.
