When I first heard about V for Vendetta I thought it was based on V., a book by Thomas Pynchon. Then I watched the trailer, and found that I was very wrong.
It seems it is based on a comic book (graphic novel?), and not a work by one of the best post modern writers living today. Who knew?
What did I learn from all this? I know too much about odd things for my own good.
